New 2-1/4'' Grille Bar Width

Our new 2-1/4'' grille bar width is available in Modern Divided Lights (MDL) and Classic Divided Lights (CDL) styles. Plus, the interior grille bar is available in both colonial and contemporary profiles. When combined with a smaller grille bar width, the wider design is great for simulating a check rail. Create other unique patterns by mixing grille bar widths or by using the new 2-1/4'' width alone. Learn more. 

 

Andersen Corporation Awards Eagle Window & Door with its Prestigious Chairman’s Safety Award

Andersen Chairman of the Board Jim Humphrey Presented Award for Safety Initiatives to Employees at Dubuque Plant Tuesday, March 15

 

Eagle Window & Door was honored March 15th, 2011, by its parent company, Andersen Corporation, with the company’s annual Chairman’s Safety Award. The award is given to the Andersen facility with the best safety initiatives of the year.

 

Eagle Window & Door developed and implemented a unique safety scorecard in 2010 that helped Eagle reduce its safety incident rate by nearly 50 percent and significantly reduce its lost workday rate. A panel of judges selected the winner based on the fundamentals of leadership, creativity and innovation.

Renewal of SCS Indoor AdvantageTM Gold Certification for
Indoor Air Quality

Scientific Certification Systems(SCS) has renewed the Indoor AdvantageTM Gold certification for indoor air quality of Eagle® windows and doors. Indoor air quality is an important issue as many people spend as much as 90% of their time indoors, either at home, work or school.  Architects, builders and consumers are increasingly interested in making sure that what goes into a building doesn’t degrade the indoor air quality or is harmful to the environment. Click here to learn more.

On April 22, 2010, the new EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) Lead; Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) rule is scheduled to take effect. The rule applies to all persons who are paid to perform renovation, repair and painting projects where painted surfaces are disturbed in pre-1978 housing, child-care facilities and schools where lead paint is present.
