Talon® RetroFit Replacement Windows
 

Replacing the windows in your home isn't something you do everyday. So when you make the decision to buy new windows, you want to choose windows that best fit your home's needs. With full customization, our Talon RetroFit double-hung windows give you both style and functionality.

The Talon RetroFit double-hung window gives you the same great ease of use, features and energy-efficiency offered with the Talon double-hung, while incorporating the frame design modifications required for renovation projects.

Both the upper and lower sashes operate and tilt inward for easy cleaning and removal. The unique jamb liners and lock assembly work together to center the sash, ensuring a waether-tight fit.
 
 
 
When selecting the Talon RetroFit window, consider the following information.
 
Sizing
Ordered by exterior frame size only. See your Eagle dealer for measuring requirements.
 
The maximum certified size is 3' 8" x 6' 6" in 1/4" increments on both width and height.
The maximum width is 4' 0", 1' 4" minimum width.  The maximum height is 8' 0", 2' 4" minimum height (equal light only).

3-1/4" pocket depth

Sill Slope
8 degrees is the standard slope. Filler block is used on existing window sill angles of less than 8 degrees.
 
Glass Dimensions
Height = (Actual Frame Height (AFH)/2) - 4"
Width = Actual Frame Width (AFW) - 6-1/16"
 
Daylight Opening
Height = (AFH/2) - 5"
Width = AFW - 7-1/16"
 
Colors, Interior Finishes & Wood Species
All 50 Eagle Complimentary Colors™ along with custom exterior colors are available. All 11 interior finishes are available with our interior wood species options.
 
Hardware
Lifts are injection molded and come in bronze, white, gold, black, polished brass, antique brass, pewter, oil-rubbed bronze, satin chrome and bright chrome. Units less than 3' 0" wide receive one lift. Units 3' 0" wide and greater receive two lifts. Can be ordered without left prep and hardware.
 
Locks are die cast and available in finishes to match lifts. All units require two locks.
 
Tilt latches are integrated on each side of the sash. The lower sash utilizes concealed tilt latches integrated with the sash locks. The top sash utilizes surface-mount tilt latches concealed in the head of the unit. 
 
RetroFit units can be ordered with no prep and no hardware.
 
Jamb Liners 
Basic jamb liners are available in beige or while and are made of synthetic material.
 
Jamb liner inserts are available for the upper sash in veneer wrapped pine, fir, oak, cherry, African mahogany, maple, alder, hickory and walnut. For the lower sash, inserts are available in painted colors to match the exterior frame metal.
 
Screens
Full and half screens are available.
